Gavin Rumble
Owner/Mechanical Engineer

Gavin is a North Carolina licensed professional mechanical engineer with 30 years of engineering experience, 3 years of which were spent implementing a Creo based design system for a machinery manufacturer. Prior to that, he worked as a technical gas services rep for the gas company and as engineering manager at an OEM machinery company. Since starting his engineering company, Solid Engineering, in 1997, he as worked with clients from around the country in industry segments such as fiberglass, tires, plate glass, various industrial equipment OEM's, food production, furniture, hydro services, aerospace and building products. He has always used computer based technologies and in 2007 added an IT services division to his company. He has been involved with the operation of the Pro/Users of the Carolinas regional users group since 2003. As a native of the Pacific North West, his hobbies include backpacking, mountain biking, rock climbing, running and fishing.

Evan Teramoto
Mechanical Engineer

Evan joined our team in August of 2022.  Before becoming a part of Solid Engineering, Evan served our country in the United States Army for 5 years as an Advanced Technical Paramedic.  After his service, Evan went to Oregon State University and received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Evan enjoys carpentry and refurbishing projects, playing the piano and Jiu Jitsu.

Kristi Everhart
Administrative Assistant

Kristi became our Administrative Assistant in October of 2014. She takes care of all administrative and marketing responsibilities at Solid Engineering and she maintains our website along with some of our client's websites. She also assists with Pro/Users of The Carolinas events twice a year. Kristi graduated in 1993 from Salisbury Business College with a diploma in the Executive Secretarial Program. She has over 30 years experience in a variety of positions in many industries, including mortgage, insurance and printing. Kristi enjoys time with family, being at the beach, and in her spare time, enjoys designing digital invitations and digital files for vinyl projects.
